1. Scope
These Terms of Use govern the use of the GeoHook App ("App") and its associated services, provided by creative-it Software Consulting e.U. ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Description of Services
2.1 Free Core Features
The App provides the following features at no cost:
- Geofencing — create location-based triggers
- Webhooks — send automated HTTP requests when entering or leaving geofences
- iCloud Sync — synchronize your data across your Apple devices
- AI Assistant — in-app help powered by AI
2.2 Premium Features (Subscription)
Bluetooth vehicle detection is a paid premium feature, available via subscription. It lets you tie webhooks to vehicle conditions — e.g. only fire when a specific vehicle is nearby. Supported methods include Tesla Phone Key and iBeacons.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
- Subscriptions are processed exclusively through Apple’s App Store (In-App Purchase).
- Billing occurs monthly with automatic renewal.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Vehicle Detection
- With an active subscription, you can link vehicles and Bluetooth devices for proximity detection.
- Supported detection methods: Tesla Phone Key (Bluetooth vehicle detection) and iBeacons (iBeacon-compatible BLE beacons).
- All detection is performed locally on your device via Bluetooth. No data is transmitted to external servers.
5. Trademark Notices
- Tesla® is a registered trademark of Tesla, Inc. GeoHook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.
- iBeacon™ is a technology by Apple Inc.
6. Optional Debug Support Mode
The App offers an optional debug support mode to assist with troubleshooting. Use of this mode is entirely voluntary. Data processing is carried out as described in our Privacy Policy. You can deactivate the debug mode at any time in the App — all debug data is immediately deleted upon deactivation. App functionality is not affected if the debug mode is not used.
7. Privacy
The handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability and Warranty
The App is provided "as is". We do not warrant:
- Uninterrupted availability of the App or its services
- The accuracy of location detection
- The reliability of webhook transmissions
We strive to maintain high availability but reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence in accordance with Austrian law.
- We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of automated actions triggered by the App.
- Users are solely responsible for the configuration and consequences of their automated geofence actions.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be communicated through the App or on our website with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
- Free features: You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
- Subscriptions: Cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings. Access to premium features remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App or specific features in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies exclusively, excluding its conflict of law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
In accordance with the Regulation on Online Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (ODR Regulation), we inform you about the Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
However, we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
